Oftentimes we experience what some people call analysis paralysis. What is analysis paralysis? Analysis paralysis is when you keep reading books, going to seminars, researching, and buying programs about a topic, you’re consuming all the information, but never take any action. You say to yourself things like, “I keep thinking about it but I’m not doing anything towards it? Why am I spinning my wheels researching all the time and not taking real action?”
So, how do you overcome analysis paralysis and take actions that will move you toward your amazing life? Here are 2 essential strategies to get you moving.
Get a clear vision.
You know you want to achieve a certain goal or dream, but you aren’t exactly sure what you’re supposed to do or how to do it. The first step is to get clear on your ultimate outcome you want to achieve. What does it look like? How will you know when you’ve achieved it? How will you know when you’re happy with it? What will your day be like? Get clear on your vision.
Daily wins.
The next step once you have gotten clear on your vision to over analysis paralysis and move forward, just do at least one thing every day that moves you towards your vision. Just take at least one action every single day. The one daily action will keep you moving forward and allow you to not be stuck. Also, taking at least one action everyday will keep you from getting overwhelmed and discouraged. Those small daily actions will add up to move you to reaching your goal.
OYA Challenge
Think about a goal you want to achieve. Create a daily action plan. Write down one thing you will do each day to move you towards your goal. Now just focus on achieving your daily action steps.
Analysis paralysis is really about being stuck. You have all the information you need to get started. It time to take action. Just thinking about having an amazing life does not get you the life you want. It is only through action that your goals will be achieved. Now is the time to get unstuck and get into action. Your amazing life is only one action step away.
Until next time…
