How to Believe in the Person in the Mirror

In the movie, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, the evil witch asks the magic mirror, “Mirror, mirror on the wall. Who’s the fairest of them all?” What do you believe about the person you see when you look in the mirror? Do you believe in your own greatest? Do you see beauty, uniqueness, amazingness, or confidence when you look at yourself in the mirror? Or do you see the flaws, imperfections, and shortcomings?

In order for you to own your amazing, you must believe in the person who stares back at you. But how do you believe in yourself when everything around you says otherwise? The first thing you must do is to know and accept that you were created with everything inside of you to win at life. As scriptures say, “You were fearfully and wonderfully made.” You must believe that greatness lives on the inside of you.

Remember that you are bigger than your circumstances—regardless of how big the circumstances may be. Believe in yourself and all that you are. Believe that there is something inside of you that is powerful.

OYA CHALLENGE
I challenge you to begin to increase your belief in yourself to achieve anything you want to achieve. Create 1-2 affirmations that confirms your belief in your ability to succeed.

Owning your amazing is possible when you believe in yourself. You are stronger, more talented, more capable, more amazing than you have been taught to believe. Begin now to see your own greatness. Have faith in you like you have faith in others. Start to be your own best cheerleader and fan. Remember to encourage and support yourself as you do so easily for others. Bet on you to win.

Until next time…

P.S. This week, I want you to get your magic mirror and say the following: “Mirror, mirror on the wall. Who’s the smartest, prettiest, talented, etc. of them all?” You can fill in the blank with any word you like. The magic mirror’s response will be…YOU ARE!
